Valerie is a certified Diversity and Inclusion Professional, former President of the Greater San Antonio Diversity Advisory Board and former Board Member of the Texas Diversity Council.
As a public speaker, consultant and certified workshop facilitator, Valerie draws from her personal life experiences and over 40 years of leadership to teach, coach and inspire others to develop to their full potential. In her former role, as Executive Director of Talent Management and Diversity and Inclusion, she led a team of Learning and Development professionals responsible for maximizing organizational effectiveness and individual development for close to 10,000 employees across the globe. In this role, she served as a learning advisor to the executive leadership, workplace culture consultant, talent management strategist and the chairperson of the Diversity and Inclusion Council. Valerie is a mother of three daughters and one son-in-law, and the proud grandmother to five active grandchildren.
